Location and access

The location is 11kms southwest of Oxford and 5kms northwest of Abingdon. Lashford Lane is a residential lane that runs between the villages of Dry Sandford and Wootton. The property offers the combination of a peaceful, rural location with excellent transport links: the A34 and A420 are only minutes away. Didcot is 20 minutes/15kms away, Milton Park business area is 15 minutes/12kms away, and Culham Science Park is 12 minutes/8kms away. There are shops and a regular bus service to Oxford and Abingdon from Wootton village, a pleasant 10-minute walk away.

The house is set in an area of small, pretty Oxfordshire villages and lovely countryside, conveniently close to the attractive Thames-side town of Abingdon and to Oxford city. Nearby Dry Sandford village has a very nice pub serving good food and the village of Wootton also has a pub and various shops within easy walking distance including a supermarket, newsagent and chemist. 300m from the house is Lashford Lane Fen nature reserve with a bird hide and a number of interesting walks, and a short distance in the other direction is Dry Sandford Pit nature reserve.
